A 10-year self-sponsored UAE residence visa for investors, specialised talents, outstanding graduates, and researchers. Renewable and extendable to spouse and children. No employer sponsor needed.
- Property investment: own UAE real estate worth AED 2 million or more (mortgage accepted if paid equity exceeds AED 2 million)
- Business investment: establish or be a partner in a business with capital of AED 2 million or more, or have an established business track record accepted by ICP
- Specialised talent: top-tier professionals in tech, science, healthcare, arts, or athletics with endorsement from the relevant UAE authority
- Outstanding graduates: bachelor's with GPA 3.75 or above from a top-500 QS university, or a UAE public university graduate
- Spouse and children receive the same 10-year Golden Visa; no UAE bank account or employer letter required

Investor Residence
A 2 to 10-year UAE residence visa for investors holding shares in UAE-registered companies or making capital deposits with licensed institutions. Threshold and duration vary by investment type.
- Investment in a UAE company: shares in a free zone or mainland company with a minimum capital established by the competent UAE authority
- Capital deposit: fixed deposits at licensed banks recognised by ICP as a qualifying investment
- Two tiers: 2-year visa for initial investments, 10-year visa (Investor Golden Visa) for investments exceeding the AED 2 million threshold
- Valid Algerian passport, criminal record certificate, ICP medical examination, and document attestation at the UAE Embassy in Algiers then at MOFA

Entrepreneur Residence (Green Visa)
The 5-year Green Visa is built for startup founders, freelancers, and highly skilled workers who want to self-sponsor without a local employer. Ideal for Algerian founders launching a business in a UAE free zone or on the mainland.
- Entrepreneur: project or company approved by an accredited UAE incubator, or an existing business generating minimum revenue established by ICP
- Freelance / self-employed: freelance permit issued by a free zone (IFZA, DMCC, Fujairah Creative City, etc.) that acts as the sponsorship
- Skilled employee: bachelor's degree plus monthly salary of at least AED 15,000; self-sponsored with no local employer
- Renewed every 5 years; spouse and children covered under the same Green Visa
How it works

Eligibility and pathway selection
We assess your profile against the three tracks - Golden Visa (investor or talent), Investor Residence, or Entrepreneur Green Visa - and confirm the threshold and documentation required for your case.

Document attestation
Algerian diplomas, business registration certificates, and civil documents are attested at the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then at the UAE Embassy in Algiers, and finally at UAE MOFA on arrival.

Entry permit
Your sponsor - free zone, company, or ICP self-application - files for the entry permit. It is issued digitally and used to travel to the UAE on a single-entry mission visa.

Medical and biometrics
Within 30 days of arrival, a medical fitness test (blood test and chest X-ray) and Emirates ID biometrics are completed at the ICP-approved centre. Residency is stamped in your passport or issued as a digital residence.

Emirates ID and activation
Emirates ID card issued immediately in digital form, physical card posted within days. Bank account, eDirham wallet, health insurance, and NOL transport card follow in sequence.
